Jessie Chang
Cat enthusiast. Book lover. Gamer girl.
These are just a few phrases to describe Jessie Chang (yes, it’s a pen name). You could probably throw in “hopeless romantic”, “voracious foodie” and “wine connoisseur”. Oh, and her lifelong nickname is “foofoobunny”.
Jessie has been writing since she was a teenager - ever since she cracked open a copy of Clan of the Cave Bear by Jean M. Auel and fell in love with strong heroines. She is a diehard fan of fantasy romance, and her most cherished reads include The Bird and the Sword by Amy Harmon and Uprooted by Naomi Novik. Jessie currently has a variety of manuscripts in various stages of completion, but The Water Spinner is her first published work.
She works full-time as a family physician in the state of Washington and finds immense joy in caring for her patients. Her most beloved hobby is computer gaming, and she tries (rather successfully!) to fit this into her daily schedule. Jessie lives with her foofootastic husband, Troy, and her flufftastic cat, Nermal.
Though her time to write is limited, she is hoping to slowly but surely release more delectable reading treats to the world.
